Beyond Suffering iBooks editionThe groundbreaking curriculum Beyond Suffering: A Christian View on Disability Ministry is now available as an interactive multi-touch book for the iPad! Originally introduced as a course for the Christian Institute on Disability to transform the way Christians view God’s plan for disability and suffering, Beyond Suffering has since been released as a curriculum textbook for educational institutions, as well as in Spanish and Braille editions. The latest edition for iBooks combines the Study and Leader’s Guides into a seamless, multimedia experience for today’s students, featuring videos from the award-winning Joni and Friends TV series. The Beyond Suffering iBook also takes advantage of all the iPad’s accessibility features for students with visual and hearing impairments, including adaptive screen magnification and VoiceOver® technology.

“At Joni and Friends we recognize that today’s students need textbooks designed for the way they like to learn, so we’re excited to introduce the first ever disability ministry course for iPad users,” said founder Joni Eareckson Tada. “It’s our prayer that this course, whether in print or on an iPad, will equip the next generation with the skills to think critically about the complex issues impacting people with disability and their world.”

The Beyond Suffering iBooks edition is now available on iTunes.
