So… tell me, when you hear the word “crisis” what comes to mind?

Hi, I’m Joni Eareckson Tada. So… tell me, when you hear the word “crisis” what comes to mind? Losing your job or facing bankruptcy, or a severe illness in your family?  During those times, you feel as though you’ll never see the light of day again. But please, wait, there’s a promise for us.  First Peter 5 says, “After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory, will Himself, perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”  Oh, I know what you’re thinking, “suffer for a little while? I want relief now!”  Well, look at that verse again. God is ready to give you all grace, not just a little or some; not minimal grace, but all heaven has to offer in order to help you endure. And grace doesn’t just come from heaven, the verse says that God Himself will strengthen you. God's hand is in your crisis. Hang on to that hope and endure!
