Judy ButlerWhen Family Retreats go international, they take on much of the feel and flavor of the culture in that country – and it happened recently in Serbia. Caregivers there are almost always family members – and they struggle against weariness and hopelessness. It’s why I was so proud that my former executive assistant, Judy Butler, served on the International Family Retreat leadership team in Serbia. Here she is teaching a group of Serbian caregivers helpful info on alleviating the daily stress of giving care to a loved one with a disability (Judy should know; she was my ‘get up girl’ for over 35 years)! Pray about using your gifts and talents at a 2016 Family Retreat overseas — and then, check out our schedule for next year’s International Family Retreats. You’ll be blessed beyond measure! (Oh and don’t forget to stop by my radio page today to hear more about Judy’s time serving in Serbia.)
