Luke, who has epilepsy, and his STM Audrey enjoy time together at Family Retreat.Audrey Ross didn’t know what to expect the first time she signed up as a Short Term Missionary (STM) at Family Retreat this past summer. She was nervous but excited about what God had in store. When the families arrived, she was paired with a young boy named Luke, who has epilepsy. At the end of each day, Audrey noticed Luke feeling more comfortable and having fun! “Even though we couldn’t communicate, we formed a special connection. I would smile at him and he would smile back.” God can use you also at Retreats to encourage a child living with disability. Audrey added, “I want people to see me live out the Gospel. Here’s a great opportunity to share His love practically with others.”

Do you want to live out the Gospel as a volunteer at Family Retreats? Serve with us in 2016!
