Thanks for this message, your total honesty about needing Jesus to get you through the day.Without going to the Cross it is so difficult to face each day. I have Dystonia and Depression and often it is so difficult to wake up each day to a body that is never still. My neck and spine move and tremor and so the verse in Psalm 46 'Be still and know that I am God' is my hearts desire. Thanks for being honest about the temptation to give in to self pity or bitterness or anger at the doctors who caused it by their negligence .So I shall remind myself each morning to go to the Cross for strength, and the right attitude to face the day and not to give in to negative thoughts that only lead to a miserable day. I want to feel joy and hope inspite of my disability. Bless you Joni and Thankyou.xxxxx

Isn't it amazing how God comes through for us! I so needed a word like this today. Weariness and discouragement are my daily pursuers and this week, they both caught up with me. Thank you, Joni, and thanks to my loving Father for supporting us all!

Thank you for sharing your heart, Joni. The REAL deal of pain, not "rejoice always no matter what", but life HURTS many days!" Both are true, but sometimes, some days, the pain seems to win out, doesn't it? I suffer from Spina Bifida, Herniated disks,Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I also lost my precious Mom to breast cancer on January 18th. So, 2012 has had a ROUGH beginning for me, to say the least! God Bless you exceedingly abundantly as you continue lifting those of us who suffer daily..hourly with pains of all kinds. Judy

Thank you, Joni, for your hard earned lesson on hope. I heard you on Moody Radio last night, singing "Be Still My Soul". What a God-incident that was! My dad is dying, my motor chair is on the blink and I just found out my provider is not "in network" as of yesterday, I'm recovering from a pressure sore (PTL, it is almost healed :) and I decided to turn on the radio to help me sleep (very unusual for me). Thank you for reminding me to "leave to Thy God to order and provide" because "in every change He faithful will remain". Amen :)

Joni, you will never know (this side of Heaven) what an inspiration you have been to me since I first saw you on television on Christmas Day, 1980. So long ago life has changed, and today I needed this message so much and so I thank you for it. My life is hard (in a different way from your own), but still very hard and I needed this reminder of the purpose of our lives - to Glorify our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy Him forever in Heaven. You will wear a wonderful crown in Heaven, and one if the jewels will be for the way you have impacted my life. Blessings Sandra
