The CA Assisted Suicide Bill Is Put On Hold

Against Assisted SuicideNot long ago I asked you to pray with me against the advancement of the “End of Life Option Act” (SB128). Well, recent news report that this proposal to allow physicians to prescribe lethal doses of drugs to terminally ill patients in California has been put on hold. Thanks to increasing opposition — and your prayers — authors of the bill have chosen not to present it before the Assembly. This is great news, but we still must continue praying. Though the bill will not advance this year, 2016 will be a critical year. So let’s continue raising our voices, reminding the world of Job 12:10, “In God’s hand is the life of every living creature and the breath of every human being.”
