Amazing Advancements in SCI Treatment

Almost every month, there seem to be new advancements in spinal cord injury cure/treatment. A man with a completely severed spinal cord has walked again with the help of some cells from his nose. After a knife attack, Darek Fidyka, a 38-year-old Bulgarian, was paralyzed from the chest down for four years. Scientists from Britain and Poland took stem cells from his nasal passages, transplanted them into his back and ‘re-grew’ nerve connections in his spinal cord. Now he can walk with a frame and even drive a car. Join me in praying that eventually there will be practical cures/treatments for people who suffer devastating spinal injuries (and God bless what he’s doing through modern medicine).
